Meet Dr. Thomas Petrick
General Dentist
With over three decades of experience, Dr. Thomas Petrick has been helping patients improve and maintain their smiles since 1987. His focus is on providing a positive and comfortable dental experience, and his goal is to make you smile with confidence.
Originally from Latrobe, PA, Dr. Petrick moved to Guilford, CT, in 1991, soon after completing his dental residency. He lives in Guilford with his wife, Cathy, and their four children, Katie, Stephen, Jack, and Will. When he’s not at the practice, Dr. Petrick enjoys spending time with his family, boating, fishing, and engaging in winter activities like skiing and ice hockey.
Education
Dr. Petrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Niagara University in Lewiston, NY, and earned his Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. After completing a general practice residency from 1987 to 1988, he began practicing dentistry in Guilford in 1991.

Meet Dr. Avsar Rana
General Dentist
Dr. Rana is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to welcoming you to our practice. He began his dental journey at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he developed a patient-first, evidence-based approach to dentistry. Known for combining clinical expertise with a gentle touch, Dr. Rana is dedicated to ensuring every patient feels comfortable and confident in their smile.
Education & Continuing Education
His continued education in a General Practice Residency at Yale New Haven Hospital
equips Dr. Rana to provide comprehensive and timely dental care. This includes
management of the medically complex, dental emergencies, severe dental pain, dental
traumas, acute infections, and more.
Dr. Rana believes in empowering his patients through education and customized dental
treatment, tailoring his care to each patient’s unique needs and desires. Whether it’s a
routine filling or a complex procedure, Dr. Rana is known for creating a calm, positive
experience for patients of all ages and different walks of life.
Outside The Office
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Rana is also an avid drummer, playing for over 16 years. In his free time, you will find him with his family and close friends, dabbling in his various hobbies, including cooking, entrepreneurship, and technology.
